Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are in place to protect both the client and the business while ensuring a smooth, professional and respectful experience. Thank you. 

Appointments & Booking

  • All appointments must be booked in advance via the online booking system, walk-ins are not permitted.
     

  • Appointments operate on rolling 6-week schedule, with future availability released continuously. 
     

  • Appointments remain pending until manually reviewed and confirmed by Samantha's Skin Studio.
     

  • Due to limited appointment availability and to the private nature of the studio, Samantha's Skin Studio does not currently accept bookings from other beauty or skin industry professionals. 

Deposits

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking in order to secure your appointment.
     

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable where appointments are cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time. 
     

  • Deposits may be transferred to a new appointment date where sufficient notice is provided in line with the cancellation policy.

Cancellations, rescheduling & No-Shows

  • Cancellations  or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours will result in the loss of deposit. 
     

  • Missed appointments are considered “no-shows" and will be charged at 100% of the scheduled treatment price. 
     

  • Repeated rescheduling, cancellations or failure to attend appointments will result in future bookings requiring full payment or booking privileges being withdrawn. 

Payments

  • All prices are quoted and payable in GBP (£).
     

  • All appointments must be paid for fully before leaving the studio.
     

  • Clients are welcome to pay their remaining balance in advanced prior to the appointment if preferred.
     

  • Credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Revolut, Samsung Pay are accepted via card machine in studio.
     

  • Cash payments are also accepted. Please ensure the correct amount is brought to your appointment where possible.
     

  • Bank transfer payments are not accepted.

Your Arrival / Parking

  • A designated parking space is available on the driveway, parallel to the salon doors. If this is in use, please use public parking available in the street.
     

  • Clients arriving early are kindly asked to wait until their scheduled appointment time to ensure the treatment room is fully prepared. This applies even if the salon appears quiet.
     

  • As only one client can be in the salon at a time, we kindly ask you to wait in your car or outside until the sign displays OPEN. If the sign displays CLOSED, the studio doors are locked while treatment is in progress, and we kindly ask that you do not disturb.
     

  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened treatment or cancellation of the appointment. In these circumstances, the full treatment fee may still apply.
     

  • Should your therapist be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as soon as possible and no charges will apply for the delay.

Client preparation

  • Please arrive with bare skin where possible, including make up and skincare products free, this is to conduct a thorough skin analysis for true representation.
     

  • Depending on the treatment, you may be asked to remove ear piercings. You are welcome to remove these before arriving if preferred. A sanitised jewellery dish will be provided during your appointment if you would like to remove them in the salon. If you cannot remove certain ear piercings, it's not an issue.
     

  • Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to remove the top half of clothing if required for treatment. Full privacy will always be provided.  
     

  • If you have any facial piercings, they may need to be removed for some treatments. ​If they cannot be removed, treatment may need to be modified. Samantha's Skin Studio cannot be held responsible for irritation or snagging during treatment. 
     

  • Clients who have had facial piercings or facial tattoos within the last 6 months will not be suitable for facial treatments until the area is fully healed.
     

Health & medical disclosure

  • Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant any medical information, medications, allergies, skin conditions, recent treatments and changes to health both on consultation form and during appointments if anything changes before treatment. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in treatments being refused, adapted or postponed for safety reasons. 
     

  • Samantha's Skin Studio reserves the right to refuse treatment where contraindications are present or where it is deemed unsuitable to proceed safely. 

Salon Policy

  • Samantha's Skin Studio operates on a client-only basis. Children and additional guests cannot be accomodated and are not permitted for health, safety and insurance reasons.
     

  • Samantha's Skin Studio reserves the right to refuse treatment or future bookings at its discretion.
     

  • Clients are kindly asked not to bring food into the studio to maintain a clean, hygienic treatment environment.

Salon Facilities

  • Please note that bathroom facilities are unavailable within the premises. Clients are kindly asked to plan accordingly prior to arrival. 

Treatment results 

​​

  • Results vary from person to person. and cannot be guaranteed. 
     

  • Treatment outcomes are influenced by multiple factors including lifestyle, medical history, hormones, medications, home care compliance and consistency.
     

  • Recommended treatment plans and home care advice are provided to support the best possible results.
     

  • Multiple treatments may be required in order to achieve and maintain desired outcomes. 
     

  • Failure to follow post-treatment aftercare may affect treatment results and increase the risk of adverse reactions. 

privacy, photography & Marketing

  • Client information, consultation forms and treatment records are kept secure and confidential.
     

  • Booking details such as email and phone number, may be used for appointment reminders, booking confirmations and important updates relating to your appointments.
     

  • Studio doors remain locked during treatments to maintain privacy and minimise interruptions. 
     

  • Photographs must be taken before and after treatments for insurance purposes, treatment documentation and progress tracking.
     

  • With client consent, photographs and videos may be used for educational and marketing including social media and website content. Client privacy is always respected and consent may be withdrawn at any time.
     

  • Personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties unless required to do so by law. 

Programmes & multi-session courses

  • Prepaid packages, programmes and treatment courses are non-refundable and non-transferable.
     

  • Missed sessions due to late cancellations or no-shows will be forfeited unless otherwise agreed in writing.
     

  • Packages and courses must be used within the agreed timeframe.
     

  • Treatment courses are designed to be completed consistently for best results. Failure to attend appointments as advised may affect treatment outcomes.

Liability 

  • Samantha's Skin Studio cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions where clients fail to disclose medical information or aftercare instructions have not been followed.  Any liability arising in relation to treatments or services provided shall be limited to the total value of the treatment received.
